I. Forum General Regulations.

1. This forum is moderated. The management has right to modify or remove posts at our discretion. Our objective is for the forum to be a place of positive, constructive, effective discussion for everyone.

2. If you disagree with a moderator action, feel free to either:
a) send a private message to the site admin;
b) leave the forum.
Avoid starting any topics just to voice your disagreement.

3. Official language of the forum is English. Messages in other languages will be removed. Consider yourself warned.

4. The main theme of the forum is any and all aspects of MUD gaming in the Lost-Realms. If you wish to discuss politics, movies and personal problems, go somewhere else.

5. Use the name of one of your characters as your nickname on the forum.


II. Players are encouraged to:

1. Send detailed bug reports. If you have encountered some bug, make sure you have a way to reproduce it, and describe that in your report. "Random bugs" are next to impossible to catch and fix.

2. Come with constructive remarks in reference to the game. Notes like 'this new feature sucks' are not considered constructive, obviously.

3. Use search before starting your topic - it's possible that the matter of your interest has been under discussion already, and you can then join into that existing discussion thread, for the benefit of all. Multiple discussion threads about the same thing help no one, especially those who wish their opinions heard.


III. The following is forbidden on the forum.
These kinds of behaviours earn swift punishment, from temporary to permanent banning.

1. Personal and/or prejudicial insults, threats, comments etc., especially any words of national, racial, religious, and political nature.

2. Foul language/swearing/vulgarity/etc is forbidden.

3. Spam and flooding. Do not post several messages in the row in the same topic (use the 'edit' button). Avoid posting into every thread meaningless messages similar to the following: 'yay!', 'I agree!' or even just ':)'.

4. Posting links to the resources containing viruses, trojans, spyware and any other programs considered destructive by management.

5. Uninformative/pointless topics and polls ('This is a pool: what is your preferred armor color?'). Tastes differ, enough said.

6. Using large fonts and bright colors in signatures. Overall height of your signature shouldn't be more than one inch.

7. Huge and/or animated avatars. Remember: some users have limited traffic/download speed.

8. Overquoting. In most cases you do not have to quote the whole message that you are replying to!

9. Topics with names like 'Help!', 'I have got a problem...' - a topic name should reflect its content. 'My char got trapped in XXX zone after going through oneway' should definitely help you faster.

10. Flames and whines outside the subforum dedicated to them.
